About Julie

I’ve taught college writing and literature for over 20 years, including at Ithaca College where I’m currently teaching. I have a PhD in 19th Century British Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I also studied and taught writing and composition.

In addition, I’m familiar with the college application process from a parent’s perspective; I have one daughter in college and another who recently graduated. I have also been a Dartmouth College alumnae interviewer for the Southern Tier region of New York for over 20 years.
